Do you have any sound samples of this? Is it kind of like a fuzz and tube overdrive combined?
I have been trying to build a Valvecaster today, but I am still waiting on for the correct parts to arrive in the mail. I hope I can figure out what I am doing wrong with a larger breadboard.
I am no electronics genius but I have just built this unit for my Pedal Steel Guitar and it is brilliant. I hadn't realised there was a strip board layout for it, otherwise I'd have had it done yesterday. Anyway after spending a lot of hours and money on other projects trying to get what I want,I now have it. Thanks to whoever designed and submitted it. GREAT. Dave.
What FET did you use and what are the voltages on the pins?
i built this and the volume actually went down. any ideas?
All 100k pots are equal, but the taper (lineair/logarithmic/etc) and/or durability may vary.
Im kinda new all to this so i have a question( may be stupid), but does 4mm Mono 100k pots work? :D
I've made, build and verified all these layouts myself and probably some others also, according to the visitor count ;)
And no, I'm not Harold Sabro ;)
Hi. great work. I like to try some of your work. Is it all verfied? And also are you Harold Sabro?
I've build it myself, but that report may be biased since I also made the layout ;)
Hi! Great pedal and great schematic... but is it 100% working? Thanks! :)

Two questions:
-C20: Would a 4.7 pF capacitor work, or does it have to be exactly 5 pF?
-R16: Would a 220K resistor work, or does it have to be exactly 240K?
Thanks in advance!
The values for C1and C8 in the BOM seem a little.... weird :)

I hate ordering parts, fills me with dread as I'm not really sure what the various terms and whatnot mean.
If anyone wanted to turn one of the projects into a ready-to-order project from any of the big (cheap) houses, that would be excellent.
I just finished this one. Wrapped it in heat shrink and used it in a Ibanez Flanger.
I used the LT1054 IC.
In 9,39V DC out 18,00V with load.
I built it and it works.
Awesomeness! This site is great and the layouts are awesome! Thanks a lot!!!
